Sandman by Neil Gaiman

Sandman by Neil Gaiman

Over the summer, I reread the entire original run of Sandman (TPBs #1-10, excluding Dream Hunters and Overture). I plunge back into Sandman every few years, and until now I've never been dissapointed. It's such a rich piece of work that there's always something new to discover, and these mindblowing moments (and there's more than a few) still hit me at every reread no matter how much I anticipate them. If I'm honest, I did find for the first time that The Kindly Ones dragged on a bit too much, but nothing I couldn't deal with. Sandman is still a masterpiece, and I suspect it'll be for as long as I reread it.
