Street Food

Street Food

I have found most of the foodie offering on Netflix quite fascinating, and Street Food is no exception. It explores the rich and varied world of street food in Asia with each episode focusing on a locale and (usually) 3-4 repoted vendors. As usual, the show is more about human stories than about the food itself, with a particular focus on the tension between a culinary heritage and the hard life that it means for those who take over (or not). It's quite moving at times. I really enjoyed it.
