Black Hammer Library Edition vol. 1 by Lemire and Ormston
I had read the first Black Hammer TPB last year, but had a chance to read the first omnibus (which I think is the first 3 TPBs) and I can say it only gets more in-depth and good. The story itself is slow going, but the way the world is fleshed out through flashbacks is really cool, as are the numerous nods to classic superhero figures. It's both fun and engrossing.
