Criminal United Kingdom
We watched this on some vague recommendations and were floored at how good it was. The concept is a short (three episode) series of huis-clos focused on a police interrogation room and the watchroom behind the tainted mirror. It's tense, very acting intensive, wonderfully scripted and quite gutwrenching at times. Highly recommended, and not just because of the superb David Tennant role in the first episode. The series exists in in various declensions: France, Spain and Germany as well, and we intend to give those a try too
