Tolkien, Voyage en Terre du Milieu. Exhibition at the BNF in Paris
On the one hand, I didn't learn much about Tolkien or his work during this exhibition. That being said, without being a Tokien scholar necessarily I do know probably more about him than most. I was quite moved however at seeing some of the original manuscripts and calligraphies, and even more at seeing all of his wonderful faux naive artwork for Bilbo in particular. An enjoyable exhibition for the Tolkien amateur though experts might be left a little hungry for more.
