Le Royaume de Blanche-Fleur by Benoît Féroumont
My daughter got this children / young teen graphic novel for her birthday, and so naturally after she said it was great, I read it. It's a really fun princess story, with a no-nonsense heroin and quite a few unexpected twists. If you have kids (not just daughters) in the 7-11 age range, it's a great choice (and you can laugh out loud reading it too).
