Lime and Limpid Green by the Lennon Claypool Delirium
I only heard about this EP recently, about 2 years after it was released. It's a collection of 4 covers, one Pink Floyd (Astronomy Domine), one by The Who (Boris the Spider), one by King Crimson (In the Court of the Crimson King) and one by Flower Travelin Band (Satori). I like covers, and I rather enjoyed the full Pink Floyd covers that Claypool did on Live Frogs. Lime and Limpid Green is (understandbly) rather better produced than these live songs and the collaboration with Lennon works really well here. In fact the slightly weaker moments come from Claypool's own off vocals which, at times, are bit too out of harmony for my tastes. Still, a good record, and ballsy covers of prog anthems that work.
