Surréalisme, at the Centre Georges Pompidou
The Musée Beaubourg had (still has until early January) this humungous exhibition of surreal art. We went there a few weeks ago and I have to say it was mindblowing, in a literal and figurative sense. Obviously, the focus is strongly on painting, with some photography and sculpture and very little writing, but the work on display is just fantastic. The photographs certainly made me want to get a Dora Maar book if I can find one. The exhibition is quite well structured, with themed rooms. If you are in Paris and it's still on, go go go.
