Lunar New Year Love Story by Gene Luen Yang and LeUyen Pham
I really like Gene Luen Yang's books, especially Sinners and Saints and American Born Chinese. Lunar New Year Love Story starts in a similar vein to American Born Chinese and I was concerned it would be more of the same, but Yang delves deep into the coming of age and adolescent romance in a way that manages to be not corny but rather fulfilling, like a good romcom. If you like Raina Telgemeier's books, you'll love this!
