Tales from the Folly by Ben Aaronovitch

Tales from the Folly by Ben Aaronovitch

I have mentioned before how much of a guilty pleasure Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London series is for me. I know they are not literary masterpieces, but I find them (on the whole) hugely entertaining and occasionally engrossing. But there are duds, and in my opinion, these short stories set in the world of the Rivers of London are not worth much of your time or attention. This is a collection of stories that were written for events or publication exclusives, and they're just about as good as you'd expect that to be. That said, if you're looking for urban fantasy inspiration for a RPG (in particular the Rivers of London RPG) it's probably not a bad source since all the stories are on the short side and mostly self-contained.
