Blizzard of Oz by Ozzy Osborne
I saw a number of positive reviews of this album, to the point where I thought I'd check it out. I don't quite know what I was expecting, but it's clearly not for me. I find it ironic that both Black Sabbath (without Ozzy and with Ronny Dio) and Ozzy Osbourne went into similar directions, this sort of radio-friendly metal from the 80s with pleasing harmonies and upper register voices. Really not my thing. I see that I have Diary of a Madman in my record collection as well, I'll have to listen to it just for completeness' sake, but I'm not feeling optimistic.
