La Vie de Château
Some movies are better experiences in the cinema, and it's not always the ones you expect. La vie de château is a French 2D animation movie about a little girl who loses her parents and has to go live with her uncle who she barely knows and nobody in the family likes. He happens to be a handyman at the Versailles Castle, and as they get accustomed to each other, the castle becomes her playground. It's cute, genuinely moving, uplifting in an unexpected way, and talks with subtlety about the trauma associated with the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris. Really worth it.
