Moonrise Kingdom
One of the few Wes Anderson movies that we (the family unit) hadn't seen. I was expecting something less playful and more story focused, possibly because it's an older Wes Anderson, but it's not. In fact, it could easily fit in his current discography both visually. On the downside, what this means is that we have a simple adventure story, with all the kinds of wackiness we've come to expect from Anderson, but not a lot more. Enjoyable adventure movie.
