Moonlight Express by Clérisse & Smolderen

I'd enjoyed the wacky and funny scifi Souvenirs de l'Empire de l'Atome by the same duo and with a similar angular, 50s graphic style. Moonlight Express is less wacky, more dramatic and also more mature graphically speaking. In fact that was what drew me to it, it's really stunning. It's a post-war story that begins in Berlin in the late 40s and ends in California 15 years later, a story about love, art smuggling, jazz and nazis (of course). Really enjoyable.
