Born Again by Black Sabbath

Born Again by Black Sabbath

With the nostalgic exception of 2013's 13 that has at least one really good song, I don't listen to any Black Sabbath from Heaven and Hell onwards. I am particularly irritated by Dio's voice, so once I'd heard that I decided that Sabbath was Osbourne. But I didn't know that Ian Gillian had recorded an album as Black Sabbath's singer in 1983, Born Again. His voice is fantastic, of course, maybe a little coarser than it was 10 years before, but despite this, I don't like this album. It's as if, weirdly, Sabbath had adjusted their writing style to emulate Deep Purple. I just can't relate to it.
