I Swear
A movie based on the real life of John Davidson, a Scottish man with severe Tourette syndrome. The movie, while outlining the first signs of the affliction when John was a teenager focuses mostly on his meeting with Dottie, the mother of one of his friends and a psychiatric nurse that takes him under his wing to help him deal with the issues that plague him. Gradually, John takes confidence and learns how to educate people around him to his Tourettes. Its a good (and often funny) movie in the great tradition of British social realism (although set up in Scotland). Well worth a watch.
