Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath

It was through a post by Gromovar that I was made aware of this graphic novel, and while I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, it is a very strong and powerful story. Horvath plays on the classic dichotomy of cute and horror living together, with a very sweet and furry graphical style depicting the gruesome lives of some inhabitants in a quiet American town. Saying more would risk spoiling, but I really enjoyed it.
