Hired Gun

I really loved 20 feet from Stardom when I watched it over 10 years ago, and I was hoping that Hired Gun (about sidemen rather than backup singers) would be in a similar vein. Unfortunately, the documentary lacks emotional depth and ends up being a collection of interviews about the "hard life but the good life" of backup musicians. Not unpleasant, but also not particularly memorable.
