Judge Dredd - The Complete Case Files v1 by Wagner, Mills, Bolland and McMahon
I own the first 15 or so Complete Case Files, and while I read most of them when I first got hold of them, that was a long time ago. I decided it was time to go through them again. The first volume of the Complete Case Files is Dredd's earliest beginning, but already the mix of heroism, cynicism and dry humour is there. Graphically, it's not always as readable as my ageing eyes would prefer, but that's down to sources 40 years old, I guess. A really enjoyable read. I'd completely forgotten about the long run of Dredd as head of the Moon Colony which I found very cool and fun. Highly recommended, obviously.
