Sanseverino live at the Sawmill Sessions
When Papillon (Sanseverino's lastest record) came out I didn't enjoy it all that much but I wasn't going to let that make me miss an opportunity to see him live. I'm glad I went, for essentially two reasons: first, the material shines live in a way that (as someone who isn't into Western Swing and Bluegrass) I hadn't noticed in the record. Second, because this was the last ever of Papillon, and there was something special in the air. I had a great night of music and fun. I even managed to take a few photos without Sanseverino kicking me. As an added bonus I got to (too briefly) see my good friend David who co-organises the Sawmill Sessions.
