Criminal France
We had been throroughly impressed by Criminal UK on Netflix and were curious to explore the French variation of the show. The first episode was a great start, with a ballsy theme and a strong plot (uplifted by Sara Giraudeau's playing), the rest was rather weaker. It's not so much the themes or even the plot as the acting. Margot Bancilhon is unconvincing as the new commander, and Lucas as the seething Captain is wooden. Shame, because it could all have been a lot more effective with a better casting or acting. Still, it's not bad, just not as good as the UK version.
