Sandman S2.2
I was quite critical of the first half of the second season of Sandman, but I have to admit the second half makes up for it, at least partially. The only thing I could say that I didn't overly like is the fact that it's very blatant: where the Sandman's scheming towards his own demise was subtle and subtextual in the graphic novel, it's very overt and repeatedly mentioned here. Apart from that, it's quite impressive that the showrunners managed to cram the whole story and reach a satisfactory ending in such a short timeframe. I still think the graphic novel is by far superior to the adaptation, but at least this TV version doen't ruin the thing.
