Seven Dials

Seven Dials

I tend to like Agatha Christie adaptations although to be fair, the last one I saw (Why didn't they ask Evans?), despite having Hugh Laurie and Miles Jupp in the cast, was a disappointment. Seven Dials was better. It's not the most thrilling mystery, and it's got much more of a "pulp" vibe than most of those I previously saw (or read), but still, it's enjoyable. Truth be told, Martin Freeman's role is very narrow, but it's really young Mia McKenna-Bruce who steals the show. The costumes and sceneries are really great as well. Entertaining and fun, and sometimes, that's enough.
